Sam the Toy Train Man

Follow this link to my Picture Catalogue of old Lionel train catalogues.

I had the honor of being featured in the Daily News. I have scanned in the article and made it available here. Check it out! Additionally there was a very interesting article in the Classic Toy Train Magazine on the TTOS Southwestern Division annual Cal Stewart Meet.

The Toy Train Operating Society provides an entry into the field of toy trains through its publications, meets and conventions, and special train cars and souvenirs. The Society's members are enthusiastic collectors and operators of toy trains, with emphasis on Lionel and American Flyer, two of the venerable manufacturers, the new LGB, as well as a revived interest in Marx, Ives, Voltramp and other brands.

The Toy Train Operating Society - Southwestern Division, California's largest toy train club, hosts monthly meets for both club members and the public. Featured at the monthly meets are over 100 tables of trains for sale, a train auction, toy train parts, and most importantly, comraderie with fellow train enthusiasts. Also be sure and check out the Empire & Eastern and the Southern Pacific divisions.

Classic Toy Train Magazine is one of the best sources of information for Lionel and American Flyer train collectors. It also has tips on buying and selling on the internet which are practiced here.

For a concise history of Lionel, check out this link, appropriately titled, Lionel Trains.

Maintained by Pikes Peak Cog Railway in Colorado, this page has information not only about Pikes Peak Railway, but assorted other information and pictures pertaining to railroading.

A list of cool links and other search engines. Some may make you laugh, some may make you cry but no matter what they are all a part of the "train tracks" that we cross throughout our lives..
